tion following this very cool trend. The longer axis of Oval diamonds gives a lovely effect and presence running down a longer finger, and can be enhanced further with a fine halo surrounding it. A well cut oval will display minimal dark shadows or ‘bow-tie’ effect through the centre, and should be a nicely proportioned shape, not too fat or skinny.
